International assignment to the Netherlands

Introduction to the Netherlands

In most cases, your employee, perhaps accompanied by his partner and children, comes to the Netherlands first for an orientation visit. If required, we will accompany them during this visit. We will tell them about the Netherlands, the new residential environment, suitable accommodation, the right (international) schools for the children and other relevant matters which apply to them specifically. As soon as the new home has been found, we can assist them with the negotiations and in concluding a sound tenancy agreement.
There is just one purpose to all this: that your employee returns home from the initial introduction to the Netherlands feeling good about it, and is then well prepared to embark on his Dutch adventure.

Arrival in the Netherlands

We believe it is important that your employee feels welcome in the Netherlands.
We can be there at the airport to welcome your employee and his family as soon as they arrive in the Netherlands. We then assist them when checking into the new residence and we are present when the keys are handed over. Subsequently, we will make sure that applications are made for the various utilities and assist them in opening a bank account, getting insured, finding a family doctor and dentist, a good language course, sports and recreation facilities, etc. If necessary, we can also visit the Immigration and Naturalisation Service together, assist in registering with at the local authority and when applying for a Citizen Service Number (BSN), a Dutch driving licence and Child Benefit. We can also help with the import of motor vehicles.

We look at everything that is important for your employee. The new employee also receives a Survival Kit containing all kinds of useful and practical information about the Netherlands and the new environment. The information is tailor-made. We make sure that your employee, and his or her partner and children if appropriate, can find their way around in the Netherlands as quickly as possible. Without unnecessary stress.

Leaving the Netherlands

We can also be of service when your employee leaves the Netherlands again. In that case, we will ensure that your employee is deregistered with the local authority and the Immigration and Naturalisation Service, that the residence is left as it should be, that the various utilities are informed and, finally, that the last postal items are forwarded to the new address.
