UAE nationals to Schengen countries without visa

29 June 2015

Recently, representatives of the European Union and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed an agreement allowing nationals of the UAE to travel without visa to the Schengen countries for stays of up to 90 days over a period of 180 days.

In order to work during this period, UAE nationals still need a work permit as from their first working day. For longer periods of stay residence permits are still required.
